North Stanly High School Home
On Friday, FFA members competed in regional competition in Rowan County. The floriculture team placed first with 1st, 2nd and 3rd high scoring individuals. Team members were Taylor Burleson, Aly Argento, and Hope Doby. The Introduction to Horticulture Team placed 5th. The high scoring individual was Grace Wheeler. Team members were Jake Potts, Kasey Smith and Morgan Lum. Meredith Simpson placed 3rd in Job interview. The Tool ID team placed 2nd. The high scoring individual was William Efird. Other team members included William Booth, Jake Starnes and Cody Johnson. The Forestry team placed 4th. The high scoring individual was Spencer Fraley. Other team members were Blake Fraley, Carson Palmer, Dalton Potts and Clayton Tucker. The Agriculture Mechanics team placed 6th. The high scoring individual was Alec Lowder. Other team members included Del Eudy and Ronnie Turner. Congratulations to these students and the teams that will move on to State Competition in June.
Summer Driver's Ed class is July 29 - August 2, 2019 from 8-2 pm each day. Students must be 14 1/2, have passed 3 out of 4 subjects and have good attendance to take the class. Cost is $65.00. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
