TUTORING SCHEDULE AND SMART LUNCH DUTY SCHEDULE:
We will be starting this September 10th
All student drivers must have purchased a parking pass and it must be placed in the bottom left hand corner of your windshield as you are sitting in the driver’s seat. If you do not have your sticker properly affixed (not taped) you will receive a parking ticket and could lose your privilege to park on campus. All student drivers signed your application understanding this requirement.
Any student interested in running for a position in Student Council should see Mrs. Mauldin in room 9 beginning Monday, September 9th to pick up an application. Applications will be accepted from September 9th-13th. The Student Council positions available for each class of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are: Class President, Class Vice President, Class Secretary, and Class Treasure. If you would like to run for a Student Body Officer position, those include: Student Body President (which must be a Senior), Student Body Vice President (which must be a Junior), Student Body Secretary and Treasure (both must be a Sophomore).
Juniors. October 24th we will be traveling by train to the NC State Fair. The cost of the trip will be $75.00 with a deposit of $25.00 being due no later than September 13th. For more information or payment see Mr. Almond in room 42 of C building.
Wednesday (September 11) is SkillsUSA first meeting. All those interested, please come to Mr. Storms' room, Room 41, during B lunch. We will discuss Camp Dixie and officer elections.
FFA members showed cattle at the Chatham County Livestock Show Saturday. Clayton Tucker had a 3rd place and 4th place, Alycia Hagler had a 5th and 2nd place and Aly Argento had a 6th, 3rd and 1st place. These students will be showing at the Lee County Fair later this week.
Cross Country will travel to South Stanly for a meet starting at 4:30.
JV and Varsity Volleyball defeated Central Cabarrus last night, they will host North Moore tonight with JV starting at 5:00 and Varsity starting at 6:00.
